Our Front Garden Recognition
We were happy that so many members were able to attend the celebration of the Garden in recognition of Richard Jarrell's 80th Birthday and were delighted to welcome Councillor Keith Irish and Laura Smith, M.P.P.
We were pleased to present Martha Jarrell with a $500.00 donation to the Richard Jarrell Memorial Garden and a student award in the amount of $1,000.00 to Matthew who is entering his second year in Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph.
We are grateful to Shannon of the Vegan Danish Bakery for supplying a wonderful cake decorated with themes related to Richard and the Garden he created and to Andrea Dunn, Librarian in charge and her very helpful staff at the Village Library for facilitating our event.
